Is there a way I can reboot it if I don't have a computer or internet

Reboot as in wipe the harddrive of the ps3 completely to factory settings? There is an "erase all data" option in the menus that should work. Not sure if it keeps the system updates or not. Make sure to back up any saved files and/or data before the wipe. Hope this helps.

Repair skype

Best you wipe Skype (delete with Revo Uninstall) and start over. You need to remove all traces of Skype in order to refresh the installation of the updated version. I mention Revo because left over code may sit in the computers registry and that needs to be removed, whereby most Deleting Programs (Windows included) fail to clean out the Registry, an import feature of the operating system. When you have completed the cleaning process....download and install the current Skype (for FREE) and start using it for your pleasure.

Hi,
For that error do a complete uninstall of Yahoo Messenger. Then reboot and fresh download. Please read full instructions below.
--------------------------------------...
COMPLETE UNINSTALL OF YAHOO MESSENGER
Please note that doing a clean uninstall of Yahoo Messenger will erase your message archives so read here about how to copy them http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/messeng...

First uninstall Yahoo! Messenger through add/remove programs.

If you want to do a total clean uninstall of Yahoo Messenger then also navigate to Program Files on your hard drive and delete the Messenger folder inside of the Yahoo Folder. Follow this path (XP): My Computer>>C: drive>>Program Files>>Yahoo>>Messenger. Reboot your computer (important!).

If you have a trusted registry scanner use it now. If you do not have a trusted registry scanner that you are familiar with than skip this step because you can mess things up if you do not know what you are doing. I personally use CCleaner but then I have been using it for years and know how to use the Registry scanner portion safely. Using any of these types of programs is USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Make sure you know how to create a system restore point and backup any of the Registry files it changes.

It is important that now you reboot your computer. Now download and install Yahoo messenger again using the following link: Full Installer for Yahoo Messenger latest version.

Boot sector virus - can't do low level format or repair?

For this fix, it will require a full data wipe.

Be sure to back up all of your data that is important to you. Your going to need a few things to download first.
1.) USB thumb drive or blank DVD (Make sure your PC is bootable via USB or CD in BIOS.
Download this program and burn it to a disk. Do NOT unzip.
http://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/dban/dban/dban-2.2.6/dban-2.2.6_i586.iso?r=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.dban.org%2Fdownload&ts=1298878936&use_mirror=cdnetworks-us-2
Boot your computer with that disk, and follow the onscreen instructions to completely wipe your hard disk. Be sure you have the ability to re-install Windows.
If you have any further questions about the hard drive wipe, see here:

I have no sound.

If I were you I would shut down the computer, completely remove the card from the computer, reboot. Make sure you go into the device manager and look and see that everything about the soundcard is removed from there as well..

Turn the machine off and reinstall the sound card, Verify all your connections, and then turn it back on and let windows re-detect and install your drivers as needed.

You do not have to hook up that cable you have been talking about, it is not needed. Just make sure your speakers are plugged in to the right speaker output jack on the back of the soundblaster card.

Let me know if this resolves your problem. and please rate if it does. Thanks.

Reboot

If you have a virus, especially more than one, you will have to do a fresh install. Yes, wipe everything off your computer, format the hard drive and start again.

Please remember to take some time and get everything off the computer that you need to keep. Everytime I do a fresh install I forget to store my emails and email addresses, some of which are quite important.

Place your windows cd in the cd drive and boot the cd, follow the prompts to do a complete fresh install.

Have you ever done a fresh install? If not, you may need someone with a little knowledge to take you through the process.

My computer wont detect my speakers!!!!!

Applogies for whoever the idiot is on other sarcastic solution, as it rears it's ugly head every now and then. The problem won't be your speakers, but the sound or audio driver. if you post your pc or notebook details and operating system back here, I will try to point you in the right direction.
