I have an htc s743, and it is frozen. I've taken the battery out, reset it, and when i turn it back on, the HTC loading screen won't go away. It just freezes on that screen. What can i do to solve this. Well before this happened, my quicknotes and some data got erased. That's when i turned it off for the first time, hoping the data would come back if i reset. However when i turned it back on, it just froze on the HTC screen.

try taking the battery out for a short time,then refitting it.turn on phone

Please note that all data will be deleted from the HTC Inspire 4G as a result of this procedure. This process may or may not delete data stored on the microSD card. We recommend backing up all of your personal data before proceeding.

First, try this:

1. From the main home screen, tap menu
2. Tap Settings, then Privacy
3. Tap Factory data reset
4. Tap Reset phone
5. Enter your password if required, then tap Erase everything to confirm

If that doesn't work, or if your phone is frozen:

1. Turn the power off. If your HTC Inspire 4G is frozen, pull the battery out and reinsert it
2. Hold the Volume Down button
3. Press and hold the Power button until the device turns on
4. You are now presented with a menu that allows for Fastbook, Recovery, Clear Storage, and Simlock
5. Select Clear Storage by pressing the Volume Down button
6. Press and release the Power button
7. Now simply confirm your decision: Volume Up for YES and Volume Down for NO

All data including third-party applications will be deleted from the HTC Inspire 4G. Once the wipe is complete, the phone will reboot to its factory fresh state.

PLease do a hard reset ... Here is how you do it .
1. Turn the phone off. If it's frozen or unresponsive, pull then replace the battery.
2. Press and hold the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons and power the phone back on.
3. Press Vol down for reset .

4.Tap the Reset your phone button.
5. Confirm your selection by selecting Yes. Then tap Yes again.
Your HTC HD7 will then go through the process of resetting to factory default settings.
Option 2 - Resetting using the hardware buttons
You can also use the buttons to perform a hard reset. This comes in handy if the screen is frozen and you can't access the phone.

there must be an application creating that prob. most probably a third party software u have installed. u have to hard reset ur cell phone. consult user guide of ur cell for instructions

try uninstalling some of the softwares & free some memory.. this must be a memory issue, i suppose.. alternatively you can Hard Reset it to back to Original, but in that you'll loose all your data which is on Phone Memory..

You have to execute a "hard reset". The exact method depends on the exact type of HTC phone you have. You should Google for "HTC Touch <your exact phone type> hard reset" and follow those instructions.
