The thing is, my mw2 controller is wired. So i tried my other plug n charge controller with it unplugged, yet the buzzing continued. so the only thing it could be would be the plug from the controller to the amplifier?

Try pointing the transmitter directly towards the headset. i did that and the buzzing stopped.

Hi,

Mostly you get buzing noise from the tutle headset only if you were using play n charge kit, but if you still get buzzing noise even after removing the plug n charge kit from the headphone, it could be due to any one of the following reason....

Try unplugging the charger from your mw2 controller and check whether the buzzing noise is stopped and iif you still face the problem then the wire that connects from your headset to the controller is the issue.Replacing this wire should solve your issue.

To replace this, go to www.turtlebeach.com and look under accessories and go to replacement parts for the x3 and buy the cable to solve your issue..

If you need further assistance, please leave me comment, and we will solve your issue
Thanks for using FixYa!

Yes, i was mentioning that.. It could be the wire from the controller to amplifier, try removing that and chack whether you get any buzzing noise, beacuse this issue occurs even when the system is muted...So if it solves your issue, try changing the wire...

Else it could be issue with the wire connecting the controller and the headphone, changing that wire should solve your issue

Please leave me comment, if you need further assistance

When I talk, my friends complain of a high pitched buzzing. I'm using the Turtle Beach X11 via a wired controller on the Xbox 360.

Same issue here. Can hear the high pitch buzz, and friends complain about it.

I have 2 Turtle Beach X11 headsets, and 3 Xboxes (std, Elite, slim)

Unplug the mic, and no high pitch buzz. Plug it back in, and its back.

Tried all 3 boxes experience same issues

Playing with volume and mic settings doesn't make a difference.

Would love to have a fix for this :-)

My turtle beach x41s are making a loud buzzing noise. i tried raplacing batteries and taking the fibre optic cables out at both ends, however nothing seems to work. any ideas? also this is not the noise...

Did you remove the chat cable to make sure it's not the controller? In fact, did you try a completely different controller? (Only use a wireless controller btw).
You might want to just contact TurtleBeach directly since they'd be able to help you better than anyone on some random website.

Turtle Beach x1's make an annoying beeping noise

If you're using the Play n Charge kit, then you might be hearing some buzz/whine through the USB power. Use the X1 without the Play n Charge. Does that help?
If you unplug the chat-controller cable from the X1 volume control box, can you now hear shots and explosions without the annoying beeping/buzzing noise? If so, then you may have a bad chat-controller cable, and you should have it replaced.

How do i fix echo in the x1 turtle beach

That's probably a bad chat/controller cable. A new chat/controller ("puck") cable should fix it.
Also, make sure you have the Dashboard > Live > Voice settings at "Play Through Headset" not Play Through Both.

Buzzing noise coming throught my headset on my turtle beach x1 headphones

Check if the buzz stops when you remove the talkback cable. If so, then try a wireless controller if you're using a wired one. Also, don't use a play and charge kit because it causes a lot of buzz on the headset.

Turtle Beach Ear Force X1's make a ******* noise when ever my controller vibrates, it sounds like static coming from my mic to other gamers.

If you're also using the Play n Charge Kit, that could happen because of noise through the USB bus power. The solution would be to use the X1 without the Play n Charge Kit, and charge your controller when you're not using the headset.
Also, if you unplug the chat-controller cable, does this problem go away? If so, then it might be that your chat-controller cable is going bad and needs to be replaced.

Turtle beaches make a crakle sound

If you unplug the chat-controller cable from both the headset and the controller, then play the game soundtrack through the headphones, do you still hear the high pitched noises, or do they go away?
If they go away, then a replacement chat-controller should fix the problem.
If the noises do not go away, then your best bet would be to tell Turtle Beach tech support about this --- support@turtlebeach.com.

Buzzing noise when I talk

Do you have the Play n Charge Kit connected? It seems if you use that with the X1 at the same time, some kind of hum noise is transmitted through the USB bus power to the X1 headset, and you hear a buzz or high-pitched hum. The solution is to use the X1 without the Play n Charge Kit, and charge the controller when you're playing the sound through your TV instead of the headset.
