Question about Cell Phones
I'm gonna try to help you once again to try to help you, with taking
the risk of losing more points and losing the chance to make extra
money on this site.
Its just simply a compatibility issue your phone and at&t server like i discussed with you before. I've done more research after the last decline because i wanted to be 150% sure what I told you before was correct.
and the settings i gave you for the server was correct also.
I know its not our phone but the iphone is the exact same way. when it first came out. The picture message servers info where programed into the phone.(this is diffrent then what at&t has given you b4, they gave you the itnernet, and the standard sms protocols) You coudln't add it cause the software on the phone didn.t allow it.
now you can send picture from your phone but you have to do it as an e-mail.
example: email@example.com is what you wold send the text to who ever u wanna send the pic 2 if their at&t only.
The e-mail above only works if thier an att*&t phone. I do not know the e-mail addy right to a phone for t-mobil or other networks. Your friend or who ever your trying to text a pic to should call their carrier, if not at&t and ask what the mobile e-mail address to their phone is. if they are at&t/cingular customers then follow the example addy above to send them a pic. Right now this is the only way you can send a pic.
i understand your frustration on this i had to throw my iphone away because it wouldn't send any pics either for the exact same reason your having issues with your phone.

If AT&T cannot send a text to enable MMS (Multimedia Message Sending) they you will have to use and online service to configure it for MMS.
Please be aware that there maybe a small charge for this.
Go here to configuremyphone.com and fill in the details of the phone. Have your exact model number ready and your cell number to.

Hello and thank you for using Fixya's services.
I am not 100% positive this will work but definetly worth the try.
Go to AT&T support site here. Choose any Samsung phone as I hear the settings are all the same on most.
Scroll down and find "device setup"
Click on MMS (picture messaging settings)
Follow the page entirely and of course, these instructions are not for your phone, so it will take some trial and error to find the location for the settings.
Please let me know how this goes and if you have any questions.

This is the issue with the LOCKS that your phone is not FULLY UNLOCKED..
Actually the Phone can be locked in 5 things they are Network, Network subset, Service provider, Extended, Corporate..And the phone should be unlocked from all the feature to enable using all functions..
If your Phone is unlocked from the network, then you can use all the other SIM to make and receive calls,
IF your phone is unlocked from Network subset, you can use the various function such as additional features in the others network.
Similarly all the other feature should be unlocked and the lock status should be set as 5, to fully use the unlocked phone, If any LOCK remains LOCKED, then you wont be able to use features such as CONTACTS, SMS, GPRS or PICTURE MESSAGE(which is MMS subset of GPRS) and other service proviced by the Network
So the solution is Ask the person who unlocked our phone to UNLOCK all the feature or all the LOCKS, else take the phone to local unlocking shop to unlock the phone fully...
Please leave me comments ,if you need furthur assistance
Thanks for using FixYa!
