You have to take the center bar down inside the fridge. It is the bar on top of the fridge compartment that houses the lightbulb. Unplug the fridge and unscrew the bar. There is one plug that must be unplugged, then you can pull it down. In the back is a small reservoir for water melting down from the freezer defrost, and a small tube stuck into a hole in the backof the fridge wall. pull the tube out, then flush hot hot water mixed with bleach into that hole. It will flush out anything stuck in the drain tube. If this doesnt work, you will need an external drain kit.

GE refrigerator model # TBHW22R is leaking water into bottom bins

There are many reasons for this happening for example water leaking from a water supply line for the dispenser or ice maker, a crack in the defrost pan, water leaking inside and draining through the refrigerator cabinet, but most are cased by a defrost drain line blockage. Below is a link that may be helpful so try to take it all in and use the parts that most refer to your specific problem, Thanks Sea Breeze

Icetube leaking water inside freezer and outside back of freezer

Your refrigerator needs a new water valve and possibly some new water tubing. You can find the correct part by going to sears.com and entering the refrigerator's model number in the parts search field. When you have the valve, shut off the water to the refrigerator. If you're not sure how to do that, just shut off water to the entire house. Be sure to run the kitchen sink after you shut the water off to relieve any presure and double check that the water is completely shut off.

Be sure to unplug the refrigerator before you start this project...water and electricity aren't friends! Using a 1/4" nut driver or socket, remove the cardboard or metal cover off the back of the refrigerator. Follow the water line to the water valve, unscrew the nut going to the valve, and remove the water line. There are 2 screws holding the water valve to the refrigerator cabinet; remove the screws and gently pull the valve out. Unplug the electrical connectors and remove the water lines. Take the new valve, connect the water lines and electrical plugs, screw the valve back into place, attach the water line and turn the water back to to test for leaks.

Since the valve has been leaking inside your freezer it would be a great idea to clean out your freezer and let the water tube and lines thaw. Find a place for your frozen food, unplug the unit and let it sit overnight with the doors open. Don't forget to remove the ice bin, as these make quite the mess when the ice melts. Once it's thawed, plug it back in, make sure the water is on and not leaking and enjoy!

Whirlpool side by side with ice and water in door. Water leaks from dispenser. I guess that there is a valve that is leaking but I do not know how to get to it. Help. Thanks

Do you have an in-line filter? There can be many reasons for no water supply. Line feeding the refrigerator is clogged or blocked. The water control valve that turns water to ice maker and dispenser is defective or the water filter located inside your refrigerator is in need of change. I will be here to help you go through the steps. Let me know when you are ready, Thanks, Sea Breeze

Water continuously running to fridge, overflowing?

Hi, if the only way you could stop the water was to turn it off at the water source, you need to change the water inlet valve. Make sure you check the water fill line for any leaks before you change the valve.
If I canassist you in getting the vavle, please let me know.

Thanks
Vic

Water leaking in refrigerator on shelves, drawers, and under draw

We took the back bottom vent cover off. Clean that area of lint. We than followed the advise given to another posting of a refrigerator link. This has seemed to work for now, time will tell. However we were told most people with Haier refrigerators have problems. Thank you.
