"dc out" error on Pioneer VSX-108 receiver

I was messing around with some speaker connections with my surround sound when the music stopped abruptly. The Receiver now reads "dc out" and I cannot use any of the features, even though I reconnected all of the original speaker configurations.
Is there something I need to reset? I tried on/off and even unplugging the unit from the wall. Any other ideas?

Problem for Pioneer VSX-818V-K 5.1 Channels Receiver Surround sound doesn't work, display reads 2CH IN,surround speakers are enabled, automatic test will find surrand speakers

Test with an surround sound media ie. Blu-ray or DVD)_. Disconnect the front and all other speakers that are working to see if sound from the missing speakers are heard. If this doesn't work then start by tracing and checking all the wires from the receiver to the speakers for bad/shorted/open connections.

Looking to connect 4 speakers to the surround back

Series the speakers, they may not get as much power as you would like, but your receiver will last longer.

Pioneer VSX-815 speaker wiring

You can hook them up either way, the banana jacks are good for hooking two speakers to one terminal (ie one through the botton, one banana) but the electrical connection is the same either way. Sometimes the banana capable jacks are on speakers A and speakers B, and the surround don't accept banana plugs, your stuck with how your reciever is wired.
