Turned itself off. I turned it back on and power button blinks green for a few seconds then blinks red continuously. red light by card reader blinks red about every five seconds. No picture, no sound.

unplug it from power source completely 15 minutes then plug back in with NOTHING plugged into any of the ports. If it boots back up then does it again later it make be something plugged into a port causing power to back feed into the boards. I had this same issue on my plasma last year ended up being the xbox360. After this if it still wont power then your power board maybe bad.

Wii won't turn on.

Reset the AC adapter by following steps below.

1. Unplug the Wii AC adapter at both ends (from the back of the
Wii system and from the wall outlet or power strip).

2. After you've waited a full 2 minutes, plug the AC adapter back in on both ends and check to see if the power light comes on.

XBOX shuts down completely and the red light AC adapter comes on and the adapter is really hot

The red light is the power bricks indicator of over heating. Its best to unplug it and leave it sit for a few hours, and once its completely cooled down try plugging it in again.

Console will not turn on. light is neither red or

Since you said the light isnt red or green im assuming its not glowing at all, and in that case you most likely over worked your adapter like i did. All you need to do is unplug the cord thats connected to a gray box from your Wii, and follow the cord out the other side and unplug it from the wall. The gray box is the adapter and if you leave it unplugged for a couple hours then hook it back up to the wii, the light should come back on, although in my case the light is now yellow when its off instead of red.

Power outage this am. Wii won't even turn on

Usually, after a power outage, a power spike (when the power returns) can disable/blow the fuse in the AC adapter for the Wii.

Try the following steps in this order:

FIRST:
- unplug the Wii's power cord from the wall, and leave it unplugged (from 5 mins. to 5 hours). Then, plug it back into the wall. (Unplugging the power cord from the back of the Wii will not help. You need to unplug the power cord from the wall.)
- This usually helps reset the fuse circuit in the AC adapter, and your Wii should work again.

SECOND:
- open the panel on the AC adapter box in the power cord; since the screws are proprietary, you will need to creatively use existing tools to turn the screws
- check the 3A fuse in that box; if it looks blown, then replace it

THIRD:
- it might be cheaper to replace the AC adapter with another one

FOURTH:
- get the unit repaired

MUST DO:
- buy a SURGE PROTECTOR power bar, and plug all of your expensive items into it (to prevent this from happening again).

Hope that helps!

Shuts off after couple hours off viewing then blinks red four times.

It certainly sounds like a thermal problem.  I would look to the (3) cooling fans as the most likely culprit.  Since this model will normally give an error indication (blinking lights and no picture) at startup if it detects a fan failure, my guess is that there one of the fans is underperforming, but not yet completely failed.  This is commonly caused by dust/pet hair/smoking residue on the fans themselves, or in the airways that bring in fresh air and exhaust hot air.  If the set is located near a heat register, radiator, or other heat source, that could also contribute to the fault you are describing. Whatever the cause, experience tells me that no good can come from repeatedly slamming any part of a high end piece of home theatre equipment.  I would not advise continuing this practice.

Won't charge up...

I had the same issue. So what I did was get a small screwdriver, opened the A210 case removed the battery. You will notice orange tape (remove it) then attached to the battery is a small board (the defective part) . Cut away the board, then you will need to solder the wires back to the thin metal film leads. And voila it will now charge, make sure to never let it charge for more than 2 hours. Do this at your own risk. Of course this will void the warranty.
