SOURCE: check cover/cart

Two possible solutions remove the top cover (Two screws on top after oepening the cartridge door and two push in black nylon screws in either side). and check the activation lever that activates the cover switch is not riding on top of the switch. Second if this happened your toner cartridge make sure this new cartridge is the correct one for the fax and not a HP modified recycled printer cartridge.

SOURCE: what do it means when the canon laserclass 2050

There are two "slots" where the lids closes which have switches located beneath them. It is VERY common for these to be displaced, giving a cover open indication. You can remove the lid to reseat the actuators.

the ADF cover is the automatic document feed. make sure the cover above that tray is closed tightly. maybe try opening it and reclosing it. sometime the sensors get jammed up.

How to repair the problem on Canon Laserclass 9000L "check printer cover" alarm.

There are 4 doors that will cause the error. There are 2 on the right side of the printer. If you look closely, there is a white plastic switch on the right side of the doors. The toner door has a black plastic switch on the left side. Then there is the fuser access door on the other side of the printer that has a switch on the left side. Check the doors don't have any broken actuators that hit the switches. Check the switches by pushing on them manually.

Where is the Printer Cover on the Canon Fax 8500? The fax is asking to Check the Printer Cover.

The printer cover is the cover that you open to remove the cartridge. Open it and check that the cartridge is inserted correctly. Remove and reinsert cartridge then close the cover. Check all around the m/c to make sure all doors are closed.

A paper jammed during a fax. i removed it. now,

When you removed the paper jam did the paper tear? mit have left piece of the orgnial document. Also open document feeder where you place the orginal check to see fot any problem. As for the cover does it look like something on the the door is broke, The actuator on the door Slab of plastic , that goes into a slot on the machine to accurate the door close sensor, if the sensor is not activated then the copier thinks the door is open even if it closed

The drum is inside the toner cartridge. That is not replaced separately. Which rollers are you trying to repalce? There are several. Have you tried cleaning them first with a rag and some rubbing alcohol?
