Question about Techko SH1524CP Shredder
The light is not, but there's no movement in any position. Please advise.

your blades have either become dull or have spread due to a jam or a broken mount on cutter if your in warranty contact manufacturer if not time to buy a new machine.

This mfr. and model seems to be very problematic.
I suspect that whatever serves to protect the motor from overload has failed completely or an internal fuse has blown.
BTW: For t_vinson; WD-40 can attack a number of different plastics so without knowing which plastics were used in this machine, that might make things much worse. For electrical contact cleaning/restoration, there are contact cleaners available that do not affect plastics.
