How to build your own website?

If you have never done anything with web design before, you will need to do a good bit of research first. The very first thing you need is a web host and possibly a domain name. Once you have those, you can create and upload your web site to the host. To actually create the web site, there are many tools out there. I use Notepad++ myself, but that requires you to know HTML code. Another program I recommend to people is called Blue Griffon, which is a WYSIWYG editor and allows you to create the web page as if you were typing a document. I will include links to each of those below, as well as some tutorials to help you learn HTML.

How to digitally sign and fax an electronic document

There are wide-spread situations when a just received contract via fax internet service is supposed to be signed and faxed back. Or there's an electronic document needed to be printed on paper, hand-signed, then scanned and sent by fax. That process is time consuming and returns users to paperwork that they are trying so hard to avoid.
Popfax is working hard to achieve that perfect paperless fax service and now it is eliminating paper from the loop by providing its users with incorporated Digital signature tool that allows capturing signature directly on the electronic document without requiring paper or ink.

How to digitally sign a fax online

The first step is to create a digital image of a signature - there are multiple ways of doing that:

Option #1. Upload signature
1. Scan signature using a scanner device or take a photo using a smartphone or tablet.
2. Save the image file in one of the following formats: JPG, PNG, GIF and max file size of 8MB.
3. Upload the saved signature file to Popfax account.

Option #2. Draw signature
The draw feature allows user to draw his signature directly in the Popfax interface.

Option #3. Type signature
User can type his name and/or surname in one of 4 available fonts and use it as signature for documents and faxes signing.

Option #4. Upload signature by email
Upload signature by sending an email with an image attached to from the email address registered in the Popfax account. Subject and Body of the email can be empty.
Signature Editor allows to crop, rotate and adjust threshold of the created signature image.

The second step involves putting the e-signature image into the document. Also it is possible to insert the Date and as free text the company details like: name, address, contact phone number, email, etc.

The last step is sending the Signed document by fax by clicking on "Save and send by fax".

Sign faxes digitally on iPhone and iPad
With Popfax, user has one account, with one login that he can access from his tablet, smartphone, desktop and laptop, online and by email.
The fax app for iOS supports digital signature and documents editing. iPhone and iPad users can install the last 4.0.0 version of Popcompanion fax software for iOS and start to:
  • edit and sign faxes both sent from or received in Popfax account, and resend them to any fax number.
  • create signatures by drawing, taking a picture or selecting a photo with a signature from photo library; or use signatures previously saved in section "Signatures" of Popfax account.
  • create editable documents by taking a picture with camera, browsing them from photo library or from other applications by using function "Open With".
*All these functions can be used in offline mode.

I want toopen to have adofe flash player but internet doesnt permit to loaded

The following guide, originally written for Firefox 2, has been used successfully on Firefox 3, Firefox 3.5 and Firefox 3.6. Users of Firefox Portable edition (versions 3, 3.5 and 3.6) also have been successful using this guide.
The Windows computers available at my University permits login only by autenticated users (students) who don't have Administrator access and permissions.
Installing software on those PC is then not possible.
Recently they finally installed Firefox 2 but without the Flash plugins, which is absolutly useful/needed.
I then tryed to install the Flash Player using the "standard" way (click on the missing plugin link then install the plugin..). However without administrator plugins it was not possible to install.
Then I started doing some tests trying to install the plugin manually. Now I have it installed and working perfectly!
This is how I managed to install it without administrator permissions:
  1. Download the XPI archive of the Flash Player Plugin to your hard disk (right click on the download link then "Save link as.."). XPI archives are only ZIP files containing the files used by the plugins. A more updated version of the plugin is also available here.
  2. So you can safely rename the file you just downloaded, called flashplayer-win.xpi, into (you are changing its extension from .xpi to .zip)
  3. Extract the files in the archive. You can use any program capable of opening .zip files (WinZip, WinRAR or the free and great 7-zip). There are also websites which can uncompress archives:
  4. Copy the files flashplayer.xpt and NPSWF32.dll to %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Plugins\
    • %APPDATA% is not a real folder. It's an alias. By inserting it in your windows explorer address bar, you'll be redirected to the real folder which holds your applications profiles and settings. The location of this folder depends on various setting that's why we need the alias and not an absolute path.
    • You can open this folder simply choosing "Start ? Run ? Type in %APPDATA% ? OK".
    • In case you don't have a Plugins folder you can create one and place your files there.
  5. Restart Firefox
  6. Enjoy your flash websites!

I build flash websites. When I upload them to the client servers - they work fine, but when Im doing test runs offline on my pc the flash files wont open in IE9. I cant design and tweek at all, because...

One problem you might be having is IE8 might be caching your flash files so instead of retrieving it from the server (or your computer) it just uses an old version in its cache. Try clearing the cache on the browser.

Where do find 'Browser configuration'. I am getting Error 413 message ''Entity too large'' on a website and some adice to clear it was to go into 'browseconfig' and check frst two boxes. Need to find...

Error Message: "413 – Request Entity Too Large"
Translation: The Web server has determined that the data being sent by the browser is simply too large (that is, too many bytes). This occurs when file size limits are exceeded. For example, when uploading a very large file (using a technique such as HTTP PUT), a 413 error may be returned when the Web server sees that the file size is too large.
Solution: This error is typically due to configuration or programming errors on the Web server end. It may be possible to shrink the request entity (such as uploading a smaller file). Otherwise, the Web server will need to be reconfigured to accommodate the larger entity. You should inform Webmasters of the offending sites about the trouble.
If you are using a proxy you may have to configure it to allow large packet transfers.

Why can I can access certain web sites, but not be able to upload pdf files or open certain files in a web site?

It might be a Browser problem, try using other Browsers to check if you can upload files to the websites you want, because every website is designed for it specific need and purpose, you might not be able to upload because their is a restriction on file upload.

Can't upload website to

make sure you create a directory in your Public Html file and upload to that. Try Filezilla. Try to contact your provider.
Try, i have 5 websites hosted from them and they are real dotcoms, not subdomains and I only pay $9.95 per year for unlimited use. Unbelievable. i am not a shill for them, I just love the deal.
