HI Dear,

This is a hardware related issue. This might be due to following problems :

1. The data cable that connects your hard-drive to the mother board might have picked up some fault.

2. The mother board is not working.

3. The Hard-drive might be corrupted.

To see what exactly is causing this. Remove your Hard disk and try to on your friends computer. If its working fine then its the other two issues.
To check for the mother board and the data cable. remove the hard drive aand try t with another one. If the motherboard reads this hard drive then it is sure there is no issue with the motherboard and the data cable.

Now if trying above you see that HD is not detected. then replace the data cable and then try the HD on your computer. If it reads then there is no fault in *********** board. So replace the data cable and get a new one.

And if it does not reads then the motherboard have some issue. In that case i would suggest you to take your comp to nearest service station.

hope this works out. If it does not and if you have more queries that need to answered then please do write to us once again.

Have a nice day.

User Profile Service service failed after factory reset and unable to access troubleshoot services: Windows 10

It seems that your computer is stuck in a boot loop and you are unable to access the troubleshoot services. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:
  1. Disconnect all external devices from your computer, except for the keyboard and mouse, and restart the computer.
  2. If that does not work, try to access the Advanced Startup Options by holding down the shift key while clicking on the Restart option in the Start menu.
  3. If you are unable to access the Advanced Startup Options, you can try to create a Windows 10 installation media on a USB drive using another computer and then boot your computer from the USB drive.
  4. Once you are able to access the Advanced Startup Options, you can try using the Startup Repair tool to fix any issues with the boot process.
  5. If that does not work, you can try using the System Restore tool to restore your computer to an earlier point in time when it was working properly.
  6. If none of these steps work, you may need to consider reinstalling Windows on your computer.
It is also possible that there is a hardware issue causing the problem, in which case you may need to take your computer to a professional for repair.

Operating system not found

hi goodner,

getting the error "operating system not found" means that the hard drive where the Operating System is installed (i.e. Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7), Cannot be found by you BIOS upon the boot sequence.

When you turn the PC/Laptop, you normal see a screen that flashes flashes with screen that displays the ff:

Primary Master:
Primary Slave:
Secondary Master:
Secondary Slave:

The Primary master should have a value right next to it. If not, either the hard drive is faulty and needs replacement, cable is loose,

If you have a value to it and stil gets the same error the operating is corrupted and needs to be re-installed.

Can't login with default settings

Tim - You may try resetting router to factory default if you are not able to login to your router. Follow the steps below.

1) Power down all computers, the router, and the modem, and unplug them from the wall.
2) Disconnect all wires from the router.
3) Power up the router and allow it to fully boot (1-2 minutes).
4) Press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds, then release it, then let the router reset and reboot (2-3 minutes).
5) Power down the router.
6) Connect one computer by wire to port 1 on the router (NOT to the internet port).
7) Power up the router and allow it to fully boot (1-2 minutes).
8) Power up the computer (if the computer has a wireless card, make sure it is off).
9) Try to ping the router. To do this, click the "Start" button > All Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt. A black DOS box will appear. Enter the following: "ping 192.168.1.1" (no quotes), and hit the Enter key. You will see 3 or 4 lines that start either with "Reply from ... " or "Request timed out." If you see "Reply from ...", your computer has found your router.
10) Open your browser and point it to 192.168.1.1. This will take you to your router's login page. Leave the user name blank, and in the password field, enter "admin" (with no quotes). This will take you to your router setup page. Note the version number of your firmware (usually listed near upper right corner of screen). Exit your browser.

Restored to factory default cd/rom dvd drive not installed driver not found

This is likely a BIOS problem.
If you restored factory defaults, the BIOS may have reset to a default configuration as well, one that may not include a setup for your CD drive. Assuming this is what happened, here are some steps to try to get it working again. Note that the pictures are from my computer, and what you will actually see will depend on yours, but it will often be similar.
1. Shut down your system if turned on.
2. Immediately after turning on your computer, look for instructions for 'Setup' or 'Configuration'. There will be the name of a key to press; often this is one of the F keys, such as F2, F5, or F12, or the DEL or ESC key. It varies from computer to computer. You must press the setup key before the screen advances. If you miss the prompt, simply reset your computer and try again. This will open the BIOS menu. hyblademin.png

3. Look for 'Drive Settings', 'Drive Configuration', or otherwise a block of settings referring to "Primary," "Secondary," "Master," and "Slave" drives, and use the keyboard to navigate the menus to get there. Be sure you read the instructions at the bottom of the screen so that you know which buttons to press. hyblademin_0.png

4. Again paying attention to the controls at the bottom of the screen, make sure each drive is set to AUTO. If that setting isn't available, try setting either the Primary or Secondary (whichever one shows no drive) to CD or CD/DVD.
5. Press the ESC button or see the instructions at the bottom of the screen to learn how to exit your BIOS. Make sure you select Save/Exit from the list of choices. If you accidentally change any other setting, simply choose Exit (do not save), and you will be put back at the boot screen. You may then try again.
I hope this helps. Good luck!

Cannot find primary or secondary drives

you need to enter the BIOS as the computer starts by tapping del or the keycombo your dell asks for to enter startup or BIOS setup, i vaguely remember f2 or f10, but the combo is posted on the screen as you start the computer.
once in the bios, the first screen should show your harddrive on the primary and your cd rom on the secondary. If you can reset these to "auto", restarting the computer should auto detect them unless a cable is lose inside or you have a virus . try this and post again here...

Dell Dimension 5510

Normally you would set it up to boot from:
1. CD/DVD drive
2. Hard Drives

There may also be a floppy drive to add in whereever you want it.
This problem sound like some kind of drive controller or the drives are not being recognized in BIOS...check and make sure you see the hard drives when setting the boot order.
