How many amps is the fuse that is located on the back of the TV near the power cord. It says T5AL/125 or 250 v. f800

Something else is going on to cause the fuse to keep blowing. Sounds like you have an issue on your power supply in the unit. Also check the outlet that your plugging it in to. Good luck!

I have a RCA HD50LPW175 TV and it keeps blowing the 6-Amp fuse125v. Why?

Either you have a dead short or you used the wrong fuse--not all 6a fuses are the same---buy a cheap generic one from Radio shack etc and it can blow for no reason.

If not the wrong fuse---the fuse you are talking about should be where power enters the set--means a short on primary side of set's power supply---somewhere between power cord and input side----possible the bridge rectifier is shorted.

l have usually seen this when there was a power outage or a surge on the incoming power line.

RCA 61 INCH REAR PROJECTION MODEL # P61929 PUSH

The first place to start is the outlet and check to be sure it has power. The next is to check / replace the main internal (to the tv) fuse - it's a 5A 250V GMA fuse (google image of GMA fuse). To find the fuse, unplug the set and remove the back cover of the TV - follow the power cord to where it enters - the fuse is located to the right and slightly ahead of where the power cord is attached to the board.

RCA D52W20 52 Fuse problem

Well you could always use a bigger fuse but I would not advise to do it, it could and most likely will blow tv not fuse. Fuses ussually blow from a short or power surge. If it is new or under warranty I would return it for replacement or repair.

Power outage fried my TV

Usually, the AC fuse is located by following the AC cord into the tv and the culprit will be close to where the cord attaches.Note:if the replacement fuse blows, then additional parts need to be changed.
