I have a ASUS K50I MBVer. K50IJ An instruction manual did NOT come with it. Is one available to download, and if so, where? I especially need to know what all the symbols/letters on the keyboard...

Click on the link below or copy and paste it into your browsers address bar, then choose your operating system i.e. Win 7, XP or Vista. Then scroll down the page until you see manual on the left hand side and click on that. The English user manual will be the first in the list.

Need to change Apire 5732z from Spanish laguage to English, kindly assist

To install a different language - Multilingual User Interface (MUI) - you need to have Windows 7 Ultimate.

Anytime Upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate
Type Anytime Upgrade in the Search programs and files box in the Start menu and click on the Windows Anytime Upgrade icon. From there, you can buy an Anytime Upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate. Then your can enter your Anytime Upgrade product key and perform a simple upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate so you can install a different language.

If you are in Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the UK, and the US you can use Anytime Upgrade. If not you will need to buy Windows 7 Ultimate, or buy Windows 7 in the language you need.

Install Language Pack in Windows 7 Ultimate

1. Start -> All Programs --> Windows Update --> Optional Updates.
2. Open optional Updates and go to the section Windows 7 Language Packs.
3. Tick the Language Pack you want and hit OK
4. Proceed with Install Updates

6. Automatic install initiated after download

How to change the Windows 7 Display Language:

1. Go to Start -> Control Panel -> Clock, Language, and Region / Change the display language
2. Switch the display language in the Choose a display language dropdown menu.
3. Click OK
4. Log off for the changes to take effect (This will affect only the user profile under which you are currently logged on).

How do you use the keyboard on my lg220c

Click Start
Click Control Panel
Click Regional Settings

Check that your computer is configured to use an "English USA" input-method, not any foreign language, such as German or French or Swedish.

Try connecting the keyboard to a different computer, to see if the problem "follows" the keyboard, or whether the problem "stays" with your own computer.

I cannot get a question mark, the upper case E with a grave (green) on keyboard appears

When you get that it usually means the language setting for the keyboard has changed.

The standard key markings are valid for most english language settings. US is the default. To change this go to start - settings - control panel. Then look for Regional and language settings. Click on that and then in the window that open there are three tabs along the top. The middle one should say language, click on that one. In the Text Languages and input options area click on the Detail button. A new window opens. At the top it shows your language. And in the box under it will show your lnaguage and installed keyboard layout. So if I were using Canadian English and the US keyboard then the keys will function as marked. To change the keyboard language click the add button, then select your language and then the keyboard layout. When you click ok it goes back to the previous window but now will show the original setup and the new one you just made. Just remove the original and apply and close everything and your keyboard will now produce the correct characters.

It's just a glitch that may happen from time to time. The first thing is to reboot, and more likely than not it will be gone.
