Are you sure the IP you're listing is for the router and not for your local workstation? Try accessing 192.168.55.1 or 192.168.55.254 and see if that helps.

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

I forgot the link to set up my password for my wifi smart bro

Most routers are set up to use IP address of .1 for the administrative page. To determine the network subnet, and then the IP address of your router, do the following:

1. Open up a command box by going to Start, Run... and enter cmd into the box and press the Enter key.
2. Type ipconfig into the commend box and press the Enter key.
3. Look for an entry that says Default Gateway. It will look something like this:

Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.1

This is the address of your router.
4. Go yo your web browser and then type in the address of your default gateway, making sure to put "http://" in front of it, in the address bar and press the Enter key. So, in our example, you would enter "http://192.168.1.1" into your address bar.
5. Done! You should be at your routers website.

How do I rename my network on a Belkin router

Please open the configuration page of your router by typing your router's IP address on a browser's address bar. Router's IP address is the default gateway when you check the IP address on the command prompt. As soon as you are on the login page, type the user name and password. Look for the wireless settings tab. SSID is the router's wireless network name. Replace the SSID of the name you want for your wireless network and apply the changes.

Wont let me sign on to the network and leaves this number 80720097 on screen ive checked my broadband an theres nothing wrong with it. please let me know what is wrong? email address...

From what I am understanding it sounds that you forgot your Network Key. You can access this information from the Router Administrator Page.
You would need to view your Router IP address.
You can gain this information by going to Start, Run, and type in cmd. Once the Command Prompt opens please type in ipconfig /all.
The IP address that displays in your DNS Server Field is your Router IP.
You need to type this address in your address bar of your Browser. This address should appear as 192.168.0.x or 192.168.1.x unless this information has been changed
Depending on the type of router you will need to locate the Wireless Settings tab. Your Wireless Password will be in the WPA Field.
If you are unable to login to your router to locate this information, you are able to reset this to the Factory Default by inserting a toothpick, paper clip, hair pin into the reset whole on the back of the router for 10 seconds. This information will be reset to default. I hope this helped.

I don't know why I am unable to get to login page help?

Where you normally type in the URL for a web site in your browser, instead simply type in the correct IP address for your "login page" for your router. For Linksys/Cisco, the default IP (version 4) address
is 168.192.1.1, but other routers use 168.192.0.0

I can't get to my router and open up the NAT thing. It keeps on restricting me from XBL. Please help.

In order for you to do that you have to connect to your router first as in login to it. Find your routers default password and login to it from your browser. To get your routers ip address go to start>run>cmd and type ipconfig. Where it says deafult gateway that is your routers ip address. After you get that you put that ip address into your browser then hit ENTER and it will ask for the password enter it and then you will be able to configure your router as well as the NAT settings

Cant get to routers login screen

Hi,
click on start click on run (if XP) or search (if vista) type "cmd" and hit enter u'll get a black window and in that type "ipconfig" and hit enter u'll get a list of numbers under "ethernet adapter local area connection" if its a wired connection or "wireless adapter local area connection" look for "deafault gateway" that's ur router's IP address, just type it in the address bar and bingo u'll be in ur router page.

Open your web browser and type the IP address of the TEW-450APB in the address bar. The default IP address is 192.168.1.1. At the login, enter your username (admin) and password (admin).

The default IP is 192.168.1.1 and not 192.168.1.100 as you have entered.

How do i change my lan IP so my router works

Hi!

Start by opening up a web browser (it doesn't matter if it can get to the internet or not, as long as its from a PC connected to the router) and, assuming the LAN address is still the default, goto the address "http://192.168.2.1" click on "login" and you will be prompted for a password.

Again, assuming everything is still default the password is not set and you can just click "Submit."

On the left side you will see a menu, underneath LAN click on the "LAN Settings" link. You will be presented with a page were you can set a new IP address for the router. Once you change the IP and click "Apply Changes" the IP of the router will be changed. Once the device finishes restarting you will now have to use the new IP address you just entered, in you browsers address bar instead of 192.168.2.1, in order to see and configure the settings of your router.

Hope this helps! Here is a link to the manual for product incase you get stuck. The juicy stuff you want is on page 33.
