Question about Samsung V25 CXTD 2000 Notebook
Whilst trying to update memory i found that if the memory didnt make a good connection the screen didnt show anything (as though it couldnt boot properly)

The screen's connector has worked itself loose from the motherboard. disconnect keyboard, remove screws holing the long blue plastic section just above keyboard; on the left you'll see screen connector, just push it firmly home.

One way to make sure the system is still working, remove the Batery, then plug the power adapter only and turn the computer back on, normally if the laptop goes into Hybernation mode and the battery is low on power this can happen. If that fixes the system then you can do a safe shutdown and re-install the battery and turn your laptop on and it should come on, the fact that you mentioned this has happened before makes me believe it is Hybernation issue.
