Question about Epson Printer
I've got a prodigy plus printer which is one of several we have in the company. The printer is not advancing far enough and results in a ripped label. When I check the settings, I can see an offset set at -20.
What I can't understand is how to change this setting. All I have to work with is dip switches and no LCD or display or any kind.
Can you please advise what I'm missing to complete this task?
Add the OFFSET command (Oxxxx) command to beginning of the data. A value of around 0700 usually works.
The prodigy+ does not have any other facility for setting the tear-off position, nor is the effect of the O command persistent.
I don't know where you're seeing that offset value since the printer cannot report it. If it's in your printer driver, then try adjusting the value in the driver itself.
