Constant lateral screen adjustment

My monitor frequently needs adjusting-sometimes when it is first turned on and sometimes if I am just away from the computer for varying lengths of time. Is there something I can do to prevent this?

PS - Monitor is a 19" NEC MultiSync 90GX2.

I have the same problem.
