Question about Canon PowerShot A85 Digital Camera
I have A Canon Powershot A85 that i bought in December 2004. Its worked fine until 2 weeks ago. I've tried 2 different memory cards and batteries, still the same. The display screen has horizontal line that roll and when i take a picture it displays all pink and fuzzy. Any ideas? Is this something that i may have done or is it internal?
This sounds like it might be a defective CCD imager. If so, Canon should fix this for you for free, including free shipping both ways. This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. Please check the following two links for more info:

I have also experienced the same problem with my A70. Canon repaired it at no cost, including freight. All within 1 week. They will do so for all models included in their advisory. Best solution.
