Question about Sharp XR-10X Multimedia Projector

1 Answer

Input 1 We use this unit at our Church and the following thing happens: Using the remote control whenever pushing the Input 1 button nothinh happens. You can use the manual button and it will work but if you shut the computer down you have to go through the same process of doing this manually. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated. We have a similar problem with our sharp projector at church where the remote is on a long cable up to the projector as it is too far for the infrared. Sometimes it quits listening to the remote and we've found that unpluging the remote cable and plugging it back in restores the operation. Apparently, the long cable introduces noise into the remote input and gives it illegal codes sometimes.
Does yours only do this with that one button?
Hope Ya Fix it! Grace and Peace to you....

How to remove code set 3 for the remote control panasonic bd-45

It seems the best way to "remove code set" is to overwrite it with a different code set.

(From the Owner's manual for the Panasonic DMP-BD45)
STEP 6 :
Reprogramming the remote control
Change "Remote Control Code" (-> 28) on the main unit and
the remote control (the two must match) if you place other
Panasonic products close together and it responds to this
remote control.
You can operate the TV or amplifier/receiver using the unit's
remote control.
1 For televisions
Input the code (-> 37) with the numbered
buttons while pressing [? TV POWER].
For amplifiers/receivers
Input the code (->37) with the numbered
buttons while pressing
[RECEIVER j VOL].
e.g., 0001: [0] -> [0] ->[0] -> [1]
2 Test by turning on the television or
adjusting the volume of the amplifier/
receiver.

I accidentally changed the settings on my remote control using the on screen menu from dvd1 to dvd2

I'm not sure the question - perhaps your TV is set to the DVD2 input and it's not a DVD issue.
If so, using your TV remote, push the "input" button until you reach your desired input.

Can't watch dvds with my dvd player

Try two different things 1) on some of these tv's you could try pressing 00 to see if it will put you in input mode or 2) with your remote you should be able to push the input or tv/video to go to the input selection . In both of the above make sure you push the tv button first then step 1 or 2 . Good luck
