Do the eraser trick http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=3lldDG4SnAc then let it flash the rrod for 15-20 mins let it cool for a further 20 mins. the only thing different i did was to take the x clamp off the gpu, scrape the thermal putty off not all of it, just enough to cover the chips with then spread it evenly on the top of them with my finger put the x clamp back on put it back together with the erasers in and hey presto works like a dream. i had error code 0102

its unkown internal error most likely red ring of death something inside came loose send it to microsoft of self fix videos are on youtube once you open it the system is void here is the contact number for xbox 1-800-4my-xbox
though it's most likely GPU related literally means the
console does not know what is wrong. possibly a short or cold solder
joint somewhere. So far there is 1 major theory for what causes most of
these errors is that the Ram, CPU, or GPU are not soldered properly to
the mother board due either to poor manufacturing or excessive heat up
and cool down cycles that stress, weaken and eventually break the
There are two theories to fixing this one deals with
the "X" clamps that hold down the chips. The other involves
re-Heating the chips. DO NOT attempt either of these if
your console is still under warranty. If your console is still under
warranty return it to the store where it was purchased or call MS to
have it replaced. I have also heard of limited success by simply
switching the AV cable from "HDTV" mode to "TV" mode.
Sony spokesperson told Toronto Sun they hope to have the error fixed sometime Tuesday Mar.2. Thousands effected... including me! it is Not the network, but a problem I`m calling, `The Leap-Year Effect` inside the ps3 `Fat` models. keep those fingers crossed, Guys..and Gals.
The XBox error code 0102, is an error in the digital backbone or the CPU or GPU or RAM. This
error is generally caused by a cold solder connection between the main
board and the GPU. I would recommend calling microsoft about fixing it.
i personally have fixed most e73 errors by replacing the xclamps, re heating all the solder on the mainboard and replacing the heatsink paste with new.
e73 errors when searched for on the net say its something to do with the ethernet port BUT ive found it to be the lead free solder on the mainboard around the ethernet port which is at fault not the port itself.
you need to search the net for 3rrod fix and you need to do this yourself or take it to a repair center if your unsure how to do it.
out of 50 e73 errors ive fixed around 49 doing what i mentioned above.
run a search for 3rrod guides on the net or youtube.
Error code 0102 is still unknown The xclamp mod is a possible fix for this error there is also a possability that the error is caused by a bad soldering join on your cpu, gpu or your ram. I would check all those parts with a magnifiying glass to make sure that there are no cracks in the solder. Another way to possibly fix this is to turn off your HD format on the AV cables this might work.
