Water collects in drum. Zanussi W1242W Turbo dry. Water collects mostly when the machine is idle. I access the front panel and empty out the surplus water but still it collects! Is it a machine problem or a plubing problem I wonder? The collected water is fowl smelling.

Could be drain hose too low taking in water from the sink..Make it higher to try...
