Hi, I want to purchase one of the laptop of CW series having RAM 2 GB. but I read in one of the booklet, I got to know that for smooth performance we have to have 3 GB RAM. because of windows 7 ..64 bit.

Yes the computer will have better performance with 3 GB of memory but 2 GB is the minium requirment for windows 7 64 bit,expecially if you run extra application you will be glad you had the 3GB.
