Fuzzy lines appear then get worse...

Swisstec SKY-EJ32/WICG - after about an hour of watching, a few fuzzing white lines appear on the screen and then it just gets worse as you watch it and then the whole screen is covered with the lines. Any idea what's wrong? Is it worth repairing? The set is about 4 years old.
