I've got a Toshiba laptop; as I'm about to run a "recovery disc", I accidentally press "F1" instead of "F2" for set up, then suddenly, the screen turn to "blank", no display at all. so I try to connect the VGA terminal to a monitor, but the output is still a "blank screen"

contact toshiba, sounds to me like the BIOS was erased. they can send you a CD that can fix that problem. it will cost you like $10 for it
