I have a Digilogic VCR/DVD player model DVDVCR1 connected to a tv with freeview already installed. But I am unable to record digital programmes from the TV.Will I have to bin my VCR/DVD player and replace with another piece of equipment or is there a fix for my current equipment
I'm assuming you mean the recorder doesn't have freeview built in?
Then all you have to do is to get a cheap freeview box and just have it connected to your vcr via a scart lead. If the VCR has two scarts connect the one to the tv for playback and use the other for the box. If it has only one scart, then get a switcher box, there's some good ones on Amazon, that will allow you to select the different sockets and record from.

Trying to use this VCR to pass A/V signal to coax only TV. Device on Line1 works fine, line2 has only ghost image, no audio. Swapped devices, line1 works fine, line2 still ghost. Just bad input2 connection ?

I have a question I wonder if someone can answer. On the GoVideo DDV9490 there is a TV/VCR button on the remote. If you press the button to go into the VCR mode, the audio reduces by about 3/4. Is that normal? If so, is there any way to get around this problem some how? Different VCR's work in different ways I understand. When you are in the TV position, the Video & Sound go straight through. But in VCR you still get the video as a monitor signal but in this case the audio does not pass through cleanly. I am wondering why that is? I need to be in the VCR position in order to get the screen display of whether I went to the record position or not etc.. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks/Lee
