How do I get a £ sign in a text entity
How do I get a £ sign in a text entity generated by javascript?
createTextNode does not handle entities
creareEntityRefence just throws exceptions in HTML.
In firefox £ (unicode for £) works but this does not work in opera.
Setting innerHTML to a string with entities also works in firefox but not in opera.
opera does correctly render £ but using this requires an environment with entity support.
Do you have any free clues about how you work around opera's limitations in this area?
