Your router is connected between your modem (Cable or DSL) and your computer. Connect the modem output to the WAN or Internet connector on your router. Connect any of the output connectors to your computer's Network Input. Log in to the router by (with your Browser) going to 192.168.1.1 ... after logging to router (login parameters in manual) set your Network Name (SSID) and set up Wireless security. I prefer using WPS-PSK[TKIP] for its ease of setup.

I'm trying to set up two computers with DSL,but when we the tech tried to walk me thru it, did not work. Once the router was hooked up, couldn't get online. The tech is saying the router is faulty, but it worked just fine with Comcast. Switching from Comcast because cost keeps going up and going up again next year. Is D-Link compatible with DSL?

I have a netgear router rangemax. When I login as admin it appears that the admin screens are attempting to load multiple times and there is also a clicking noise as the screens attempt to load. It is very fast to start with and settles to around 5 per second. The admin screens never load. I have sucessfully used the admin screens before but not for a few weeks.
