Problem for HP ScanJet 4850 Flatbed Scanner
HP Scanjet reinstallation problem

I recently reloaded Window XP, and upon reinstallation of HP Scanjet 4850 I get messages saying "Preparing to install" & "Please wait while windows configures Photo Gallery" but nothing happens. They appear every time I power up and will only go away if I Alt/Ctrl/Del. I have also recieved this error message:
"An unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application. Object reference not set to an instance of an object."
