You have a defective keyboard spacebar. Just get a
replacement. I have a problem similar to what you got.
Since it was delaying my work, I have it replaced. Anyway, keyboard doesn't cost much. There are a lot
of choices that you can buy at a bargain.

My new straight Talk phone won't unlock

hit the dash that is ABOVE and to the left of the OK then hit the space bar on the bottom. Space bar is the widest key on the bottom and actually looks like a typical keyboard space bar.

I have an Acer Netbook and the space bar will not work unless you hit it very hard.

Turn it upside down and tap it.There may be some thing caught under the space bar.If not then gently pry the space bar off and clean it.It may be sticky.

The sapcebar had poped off and all the parts are still fine and arent missing or broken is there anyway that I can fix it without bringing my computer back to get it fixed?

Just place the space bar back on the keyboard, align it in its correct position and push down on the space bar key until it clicks in place.

My spacebar key is no longer working properly. I have an acer aspire laptop 5735Z . I deliberately pulled the key off to clean underneath and then just clicked it back on, thinking it would work normally....

There is usually a metal piece under the space bar, if it isn't seated properly the space bar will teeter. Try to remove again and see if they metal bracket is seated correctly.

Space bar is not working, all other keys are working fine.

if the keyboard is too old and if you have used it a lot, then ou have to replace the keyboard. The space bar alone had gone.

You can easily fix your space bar. I fixed mine last month when my daughter pulled it out of the keyboard. I used this video tutorial guide to help install the space bar key back into place. Its really very simple. have a look:

Acer laptop spacebar fell off

The space bar key is connected tothe keyboard a little bit differently then any other key.

There is a metal retainer connectedto the space bar key (on some keyboard models). Separate the retainer from thespace bar key with a flathead screwdriver.

Install the retainer back inplace as it shown on the picture. You have to engage the retainer with thesmall hooks on the keyboard.

Put the space bar key back inplace and gently press on it with fingers until it snaps back in place.

That’s it. The space bar key isinstalled back in place and should work as before. If you still cannot fix yourkeyboard, then you’ll have to find a new oneand replace it.
