Disc won't read

Optical failure. Here are some general tips to use.

Try cleaning the lens with an approved laser lens cleaner.

Check to see if you can hear the disc being spun. If not, the spindle motor is bad.

If your discs are spinning but aren't being read, your laser could be damaged. Contact Nintendo for service, unless you're comfortable replacing the laser yourself. Buy one online and get it replaced.
