We're is the LCD located in my phone

One of the iPhone's greatest features is its highly intuitive touch screen.
Unlike other electronic device touch screens, your iPhone doesn't operate using the blockage of light to decipher which keys and commands you're pressing.
This makes it a viable choice for cell phone users who may not be able to complete other types of commands.
While you cannot alter the sensitivity of your iPhone, you can toggle certain features that make your phone easier to use.
How It Works

The key to understanding the sensitivity level of your iPhone's touch screen is first understanding how the touch screen actually works.
Instead of detecting light blockages or heat to interpret your finger's movements, the iPhone actually has a grid that lies underneath the surface of the touch screen.
When your finger touches the screen, electrical impulses detect the area on the grid that you're touching to interpret the letter, command or motion you're making to issue the correct response.
Screen Sensitivity
While previous models of the iPhone did offer the ability to change the screen sensitivity and the speed by which your phone responds to commands, the iPhones 4 and 4S no longer offer the option.
Instead, the touch sensitivity on newer phones is automatically calibrated for the fastest speeds, which means your phone responds quickly to your touch.
If this frustrates you and results in commands and calls you didn't mean to make, locking the screen by pressing the button on the top right-hand rim of the phone helps stop unwanted commands.
Assistive Touch
Update iPhones running on iOS 5 with an option known as "AssistiveTouch," which allows users who may not have complete control over their bodies and motions to use the iPhone.
This program allows you to change the speed at which the phone responds to your touch.
By tapping the "General" icon, then touching "Accessibility" and "AssistiveTouch," you'll enter the assistive touch menu.
When you turn on the option, an overlay appears on the screen that allows you to give commands by touch, rather than by shaking, swiping or pinching the screen.

When setting up AssistiveTouch, you'll have the opportunity to select your command tracking speed, which deals with how sensitive your iPhone is to your various gestures and custom commands.
Case Issues
Your touch screen isn't the only place where your phone is sensitive to movements.
Your iPhone has a feature called a proximity sensor.
The role of the proximity sensor is to sense the closeness of your face during a phone call. When the phone senses that your face is close to the phone, it locks your screen to prevent you from accidentally activating the touch screen with your cheek or ear.
This is handy, except when the proximity sensor is partially obscured by a case and is no longer sensitive to the position of your face.
The proximity sensor is found on the upper right-hand corner of your screen, so ensure that it remains uncovered to preserve its sensitivity.

Touch screen not working

Apple's iPhone touch screen feature provides an intuitive user experience that many people find useful; however, there can be problems with the screen being unresponsive. There are several do-it-yourself remedies you can try to correct this problem before seeking assistance from Apple.
jQuery('.intro .thumbnail').each(function(i,e){ jQuery(e).find('img').one('error',function(){ jQuery(e).remove(); }); });
    Clean the Screen
  1. Clean the iPhone'smag-glass_10x10.gif screen. Apple conveniently supplies a suitable cloth inside the box that came with your iPhone. If you use a sheet or film over the screen as a safeguard, remove this first before thoroughly wiping down the area. To prevent further debris accumulation, make sure to only use the iPhone with bare, dry hands. Moisture from water or lotion has been known to affect the touch screen's responsiveness.
  2. Force Quit and Reset the iPhone
  3. Force quit an application. A running application may freeze from time to time and can ultimately cause the screen to stop working. To resolve this, press the "Home" button located below the screen and hold it for at least six seconds. This makes the running application force quit and fix the screen problem, if that is the troubling factor.

If unfreezing your application does not work, the next tactic is to press the "Sleep/Wake" button located at the top of the iPhone and then hold it down for a few seconds. When the red slider emerges, touch the screen to move the slider across the display. Next, press and hold down the "Sleep/Wake" button again until you see the Apple logo.

Finally, if the above procedures are unsuccessful, reset your iPhone by completely turning it off and then on again. Resetting is the answer to many problems that occur. To do this, press and hold the "Sleep/Wake" button while simultaneously holding down the "Home" button. Do this for a minimum of 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears. Test the touch screen to see if the problem is resolved.
  4. Contact Apple Support
  5. If all else fails, your best option is to make contact with Apple Support using any one of the methods they provide. You can go to Apple's "Contact Apple Support" page and arrange an evaluation phone call or make a reservation with a local Apple Store to have your iPhone looked at. You may also call the Apple Store directly or simply drop by and go straight to the Genius Bar to make an appointment to get assistance.

My ipod screen is enlarged

Your iPod Touch is not broken! You accidentally invoked one of the accessibility features which zooms the screen. This happens when you double-tap the screen with three fingers simultaneously. To undo it, double-tap again and drag three fingers up or down.
You can turn this feature off by going to Settings > General > Accessibility > Zoom.

Iphone home screen zoom in

This happens when you accidentally put the iphone in zoom mode, which is one of the "accessibility" features under the "settings" icon. Most likely the user accidentally "double tapped" the screen with three fingers. This is what launches zoom mode. To change the zoom, double tap the screen with three fingers and drag the three fingers down or up the screen. To avoid this recurring, you can go to Settings>General>Accessibility>Zoom. Then set the Zoom feature to "off".

IPhone's screen just decided to not work

If you have dropped your phone, its possible that the phone's digitizer was damaged.

If you haven't dropped your phone at all.. try to press the power button and the menu button both at the same time. that will reset the phone to default settings.. see if that works
