I sent my print job to the HP Deskjet cse 895C instead of to my photo
printer in another room. So I just want to cancel it on the
Deskjet. I find no where in the manuel to tell me how to do
it. I went to the Printers and opened it and said delete job-but
it won't. So I just turned off the Deskjet. When I turn it
back on, it keeps printing a few weird symbols on pages and pages of
paper. I turned it off to make it stop. I need help quick-it is
11 p.m. Tuesday. Thank you so much--
just turn the printer off...and delete the commands from the error and job folder...you have to insist ...and try to open it from control panel or Hp in all programs .if it doesn't work from tray system ...this is the way to annul the commands...if it does not want to ..restart and try it again until it get rid of it ...restarting will make it not see that is used by another device ..

This did work, thank you. But only after I shut down and restarted.

In the Open box, type control printers, and then click OK. Right-click the icon for your printer, and then click Open. To cancel individual print jobs, right-click the print job that you want to cancel, and then click Cancel. To cancel all print jobs, click Cancel All Documents on the Printer menu. ( note some printers you can just turn off then back on this will also canceal print jobs.

Printer keeps printing out random characters. There are no print jobs in the queue. I tried deleted the spool files, and also reran the printer networking setup. Also, deleted and reinstalled printer. I can't get it to print anything requested.
