I am sure that you are aware that your notebook has a one year warranty from Acer. Although there are a few things you could try it would be inadvisable to do anything until you contacted Acer. Any attempts by you to fix this before that may cause more problems and void your warranty.
If however your warranty is out then please repost and we will gladly help.

Also you can hear someting but it's not the processor. The processor does not make any noise. What you are most likely hearing is the hard drive spinning up. This is a good thing though.

replace the memory...if doesn't show up...use a monitor and connect the VGA into it...
