The cooling fan senses the temp within the processor and the processor turns it on. It apparently cools it down very fast so it goes off. This is good that it cools quickly.

Sounds like the fan is giving out.First try spray air into fan to push out dust.If continues have the fan replaced at once ,because if you dont the fan may stop and the processor may get very warm and burn it out.Can be a serious issue if not fixed.
