If you do not get ANY indicator light , then you need to look at the power supply for the 5vdc standby voltage first whic will be in the power supply module, this 5vdc is needed by the main board to turn on the rest of the circuit. If you do have even one light, the n the problem can be in the controller board not sending the signal to turn on the main power supply section. Look at the power supply first since it is one of the part that fails most, next to the backlight board.

I can't get tv to send sound to sound system

Having browsed the user manual I wonder if you plugged in the Sony BDV T57 Home Theatre System while the Polaroid FLM-2632 tv was powered down via the optical cable .
Then powered up the Sony BDV T57 Home Theatre System first and then powered up the Polaroid FLM-2632 tv
Maybe the Polaroid FLM-2632 TV has to detect that the Sony BDV T57 Home Theatre System is connected and powered up when the Polaroid FLM-2632 powers up. To activate its digital audio out ????
The note part about only being available only under HDTV (cable/air) mode. Might be the cause of your hassle also ?

My Poloroid LCD TV wont turn on power supply brick light doesnt

The TV needs a fairly stable and well filtered 12V power supply. A jumpstart box is 12V, but is I seriously doubt that it is anywhere near filtered and stable, so most likely you would smoke the TV.

Hooking the TV directly to a 12V battery is just fine, as long as the battery has enough current to run the TV.

Need a replacement power cord for lcd 2000 falt screen

Hey Okky,

If you have been having difficulty locating a replacement power cord for your Polaroid LCD-2000 TV, I would strongly suggest contacting Polaroid directly for further assistance. In some cases, if a manufacturer is unable to provide you with an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) part, they may be able to provide you with a number of aftermarket part models that may better fit your needs.

Additionally, please keep in mind that while Best Buy™ stores may not always carry replacement parts for every product we sell, our online partner's website typically will have an expanded assortment of replacement parts available.

You should be able to reach Polaroid by calling their toll-free hotline at (866)-289-5168, or you can always visit Best Buy Partsearch using the link I've provided below:

Hope this helps you out.

Sincerely,
Aaron
