Re: no power

Usually it is Power supply / main board is stuffed, too expensive a fix if not under warranty, Required fix if power supply is known to be delivering power to the machine is Replace main board.

YOu could check that connector socket is not loose but chances are the boards have had a power surge or they are ink corroded

Printer power on/off button does not respond and northing works

1) Connect the printer directly to the walloutlet..
2) Try with different wall outlet...
3) Check if the button is stuck inside or not..
4) Remove the power chord from he back of the printer and then press and hold down the power button for 30 sec... release the button and then plug in the power chord...
Check if the power button responds or not...
5) Check if there is any light on the adaptor or not or if the printer has any light or not...
if there is no LED light on the adaptor it is a problem with the power adaptor ..
If there is light on the adaptor as well as printer and power button does not respond it is an issue with the printer..
You must replace the printer...

My officejet7210 all-in-one, not working . i shut it off to checjk all connections, i had to to move the printer, now it wont turn on. I've pushed the on button quickly, held it. no go. any ideas?

hi, lets try some reset on the printer but before that make sure that the printer is directly connected to the wall socket and there is no power surge protector connected now place your hand on the the power adaptor of the printer and check if the adaptor is heating or not if its heating then proceed further if not then there is some problem with the adaptor
now connect the power adaptor to the printer and then try turn on the printer if its not turning on then press and hold the power button for 10 sec and then remove the power cable from the printer now keep pressing teh power button and after 10 sec reinsert the power cable and then release the power button
still if the printer is not powering on then press the # and 3 button on the printer and then while pressing them remove the power button wait for 5 sec and then replug the cable while pressing the buttons
now try to power on the printer if not powering on still then try the above step using the # and 6 buttons if till face the problem then the device needs service

Can't print

Turn the printer power off.
Press and hold the button on the front and turn the power on, do not release
the button until the power is one. Briefly release the button and press it
again, watch the lights cycle. When the Drum light comes on release the button
immediately. This should print a test page. You may have to repeat this until
you get it right. If that works then the printer is OK.

mostly, if the printer is in good condition, this problem could be resolved by resetting the printer and re-installing the driver and its software.

The power indicator of the printer has no

Did you try pulling the cord from the printer for awhile and re-insert it? Are you sure the power adaptor is really still good? Might be hard to test that. But it no doubt has 1 or more dc voltages coming out of it.

I assume it doesn't print either or make any other noises like it's starting up. So it can't be the LED only of the power indicator.

Somethings dead.

With the machine on, press clear modes(yellow button), 107, and then hold down clear/stop (red button). Enter 5810 then # key then 1 #. Turn off the main power then power back on. This code is a fuser lamp on condition. It should clear. If not reseat the fuser unit (gets hot), clear using above procedure and try again.

It won't work

Try to figure out if its hardware or software issue.
unplug power adaptor from the back of and hold the button on printer and simultaneosly plug the power adaptor..if a test page prints out-hardware is fine and issue is with correct software issues-try driver uninstall and reinstall.

Ink absorber is full and printer won't print

Dear caucoin,
This message appears when waste ink absorber capacity rise to about more than 95 %. To fix this problem you need reset waste ink counter and it strongly recommended that you replace waste ink absorber (integrated in print base unit). Due to complicated disassembly process i suggest you to take the printer to nearest service center. For emergency reason you may perform below procedure to reset waste ink counter:
  • Plug in power cable
  • Press POWER button while holding down RESUME/CANCEL button then release RESUME/CANCEL button (do not release POWER button)
  • Press RESUME/CANCEL button two times while holding down POWER button then release all button (printer entering service mode and light stand by in green).
  • In stand by condition, press RESUME/CANCEL button 4 times (light will flash alternately in orange & green each time the button pressed).
  • Turn off printer and turn on again.

Now your printer back to normal condition. Hope this will be useful for you and don't forget to rate me.
