Picture suddenly turned off - will not turn back on; powered unit off, then on - no help. Press power switch and power light comes on momentarily and then turns off, picture does not come on.
Left it off for an hour - no change. Removed back and found 2 fuses - both good.

this is very common. it is the power supply going bad. it should run at
130 volts dc. but it is now running much lower that this. just enought
for the tv to come on. but not enough to power all the circuits right.
try cold reset by removing the battery including power adapter then press power button for approx. 20 secs. then plug your power adapter then press power button again. press the numlock/ capslock button if there is response showing that your motherboard isnt dead yet. please check also when fan is running momentarily then suddenly stops then post another question here.
unplug it, and let it set for a minute or 2, then try it again...if it does it again hit the power button again to turn it back on...also once the the tv turns on make sure you reset the counter for the bulb..that will also cause problems...to reset the counter press the (-) volume on the tv while holding down the (-) press spilt, pip on the reomte...the lamp will reset and the indicator will go out
You have a bad power supply (AC adapter). Watch closely at the red light while turning tv on to see if red light momentarily flashes green, then back to red.
Same problem here. Opened it but everythng seemed intact. Red light flashes momentarily during initial plug in. Has power, oscillates but no fan rotation.
Did you get your tv fixed?
It may be the Sub power supply unit. If the main supply went out it would not light the display at all.
Yes it is time for th repair shop.
Good Luck.
