1 red light problem

hi, it sounds like a case for microsoft. but a word of advice. you can upgrade your warranty first if it has run then phone them up a week or two later to say your system has developed a fault but i didnt tell you this. ha

I got a similar error about 2 days ago. Bottom right light only. Mine is error E74. There was a site I saw that sells a book on how to fix the red lights. I think its 3redlightfix.com. You can buy the book for $24, and view it online, however, using the instructions in the book void the warranty. What I'm gonna do is try the towel trick for now. Hopefully it'll make my 360 work for a little while. It's just a quick solution until the shipping box comes in for me to send it to microsoft. I want to work on the xbox myself...but I really don't want to void the warranty...especially since they upgraded all the warranties to 3 years now.
