Error 1201; Carrier stall; Printer stopped
Solution
The definition corresponding to this error message is this: "The print carrier stopped before all of the data was used." To resolve this issue, please do the following:
Power the printer off.
Remove all cables from the back of the printer.
Reinsert the power cord.
Switch the printer back on.
Check the operator panel to see if the 1201 error message is displayed.
If the error message returns, the printer could be defective. Contact Lexmark Customer Support for further troubleshooting and warranty options.
