Error 1201; Carrier stall; Printer stopped
Solution
The definition corresponding to this error message is this: "The print carrier stopped before all of the data was used." To resolve this issue, please do the following:
- Power the printer off.
- Remove all cables from the back of the printer.
- Reinsert the power cord.
- Switch the printer back on.
- Check the operator panel to see if the 1201 error message is displayed.
- If the error message returns, the printer could be defective. Contact Lexmark Customer Support for further troubleshooting and warranty options.
