Thank you for using Fixya!
This is what comes in the parts kit
QCS31HJ-470AZ (47 ceramic disk cap.)
QCY31HK-222AZ (222 ceramic disk cap.)
CEKO026-1R0Z (peaking coil) To install them, you will need a soldering iron,
other then that it shouldnt be too difficult..
The only problem is you need
SB-9607-A ( a service bulletin that details where to
install the parts kit.)
JVC will only let authorized dealers of JVC download the service bulletin.
You could contact JVC directly and ask them for it.
Here is a link to do so.

There is also a 1-800 number.

- If they sent you the parts kit via mail.. Then they will probably send you the Service bulletin i mentioned as well if you ask them.
Just tell them that you need SB-9607-A that way you can install the parts kit they sent you.
( They can provide a download link for the service bulletin or they could mail it, thats up to JVC )

- The best suggestion i Have, is to go here
http://maps.jvc.com/casclist/
fill out the form, and then it will give you the nearest JVC authorized repair center, they should have or be able to obtain a copy of the Service bulletin.
Im not sure who you spoke to at JVC, but they definetly should have the service bulletin. Ask to speak to someone in the technical support department,
A regular customer service representative probably doesnt even know where to start looking.
Its JVC that put out the service bulletin.
So try to find an authorized repairer, or contact JVC again and speak to the tech support department..
Good luck..
If you have any other questions feel free to ask!

- I just seen you comment..
Here is the link, to find an authorized JVC repair shop in your area..
Im not suggesting you have them install the parts kit. But i am suggesting you call a few of them and ask about the service bulletin..
Ive scoured the net to download the bulletin, but its just not there. Its supposed to be for JVC technicians only.
However, if they are selling the part kit that the service bulletin is for.
Then someone has that service bulletin available.
Try the link below, call the nearest Authorized JVC retailer and inquire about the service bulletin.. Thats the only solution i know, If JVC isnt giving up the info.
