Samsung sch-w531 I can not download music on to my MP3 player. When I plug in the UB cord into my PC, it clicks but does not recognise it

    Tried options offered however can import to phone but not my music or photos from my PC to my mobile or my digital photo frame. Thnks Jo

No solution BUT need to ask ...
Can I get this phone to talk to a Mac in order to transfer music files?

You have to find "Connect to PC" on your phone, under Tools, then User Memory. If a box comes up saying something like "what action do you wish to take?", go to "Open Folder to View Files".

Or you can go to "My Computer" on your PC, and open "Removable Device" which should be your phone, and shift the mp3 from your computer to the MP3s folder in your phone.

Try with an unprotected MP3 first such as "Don't Download This Song" by Weird Al Yankovic which is (I understand) legitimate freeware. http://music.download.com/weirdalyankovic/3600-10607_32-100948958.html
Protection may cause some issues, I believe.

You need to turn the conect to computer thingy on the phone cant rmember the icon but its the second from botom right optoin 6 and then option one this disabls text and calls soyou hva to exit when you have done

How to down load music on mp3
You should of got a disc with your mp3. You need to download that. Then plug it in through USB onto your comp/laptop. Then download a song you like on your computer. I use limewire to download music. Then simply play all the music on windows media player. I do them all at once (not so there all playing just so one plays then the other does and so on just like a album but on media player) then if it doesn't recognise your mp3 click "sync" then click "now playing" then "sync all"

as long as you have the software installed on your pc follow on screen to do this ,if no software goto

Download Centre SAMSUNG and download the software for free to pc and follow on screen display to transfer your files .

you can use bestbuy digital music store to transfer music and if you want videos then use cinema now.com but make shure it is optomized for the p2. Gotr to costomer service and then lick on already asked questions then click on what devices are compatible with cinemanow and click on the link for the samsung yp p2. Then our golden i already have pirates of the carribbean, spiredman three, and i am legend. Just buy the movie, download it and transfer it to the device through samsung media studio. To download samsung media studio just put in the installation cd and highlight both the music store which you need to transfer music and the samsung media studio and intstall them both. then everything should work
