I have Sony Trinitron KV-32V65 TV with no sound or picture.

I have Sony Trinitron KV-32V65 Color TV and it has been okay since it was purchased, but the other day it quit working. When you turn it ON, the "Stand-by" light starts flashing and the the "Power" light comes ON, but there is no picture (black) and no sound. The "Stand-by " light flashes on and off with no apparent sequence. Am I going to need to get a naw TV or is there something I can do?
