Can you use a wired connection? If you can, then download the driver from Intel. IF not, get a flash drive, and use a machine that can get to the internet. Download the driver from intel, save it to the flashdrive, then insert the flashdrive in your laptop, and install the driver.

You can also get the driver from the manufacturer of the laptop.

As long as you can install a basic windows install and internet connecivity, windows update/ windows service packs should provide most of the drivers you need. If not you'll need to visit the manufactorers website and download any drivers that are available.

Problems to configue network controller in IBM T42

There are several different LAN, wireless, & modem devices that are installed on the T40 series laptops. For example, if one of the network driver or modem driver doesn't work then install a different one. Make sure you download all the various device drivers for your model laptop and the XP version of those driver.

The problem is that i dont have or i think i lost the network installer for this laptop

You can check for network drivers either on what I assume you have is XP operating system. Or attempt to download the drivers from the laptop manufacturer. Look on the Mirus web site for network drivers and or look in control panel/ systems...and go to network in the column and try to reload the drivers there. Good luck

Used a wired connection and go to manufacturer's website to get the relevant drivers. Copy them to a USB thumb drive and then install them to the Acer.
