Ran recovery on system xp on a mx6025, lost drivers, using network adapt from work computer please help . installed recovery from grc will not run correctly

As long as you can install a basic windows install and internet connecivity, windows update/ windows service packs should provide most of the drivers you need. If not you'll need to visit the manufactorers website and download any drivers that are available.

XP on HP Pavilion dv2000

For the laptop with no hard drive detected, this is most likely because Windows XP does not recognize SATA drives by default, which the laptop most likely has. To solve this, you will need to enter the BIOS setup utility (most likely Delete or F1 on startup). From there, you will need to change the drive mode to Compatibility mode. I'm not sure where this would be, but if you check in your laptop manual, you can probably find this somewhere.

For the 2519TU, download and install this for the LAN driver: it should work just fine.

Good luck!

The problem is that i dont have or i think i lost the network installer for this laptop

You can check for network drivers either on what I assume you have is XP operating system. Or attempt to download the drivers from the laptop manufacturer. Look on the Mirus web site for network drivers and or look in control panel/ systems...and go to network in the column and try to reload the drivers there. Good luck

Lost wireless capability

You need first to check if the wireless adapter is installed properly, Ricght click My computer>Properties>Hardware tab>Device manager>look for network adapter and check if the wireless adapter is listed if its there right click on it and go to properties and check the device status..

If the adapter is not showing under network adapter look for anything that says Unknown or other device and you that's where you can find a improper installed device you just need to install the driver for that.

Hope that helps........
