Re: crown 3600vz

Maybe you should try to check for a HEAT SWITCH or RELAY FUSE or Fuse located inside the amp. the red indicator was telling you that it TRIPED maybe due to SHORTED terminals from speaker or it reached its maximum peak thats why it triped. email me if it worked. im preaty shure it will work. ciao

I test my crown amplifier 3600vz a few minites then i stop couse verry hot i discover i open the back panel i saw resistor12 and resitor14 burn,i ask what is the promblem, the value of r12 and r14 is...

The ouput drivers have failed and along with the heavy current drain the resistors burnt off . So before the resistors are changed the entire section of the predriver and output section must be checked before new outputs are installed.
test the amplifier with a series voltage regulator and is there is heavy load drain then shut down and recheck till the drain limit is maintained to confirm the correct working of the amplifier.

There is a red light shinig inside my CROWN XLS

Lots of electronics have lights (LEDs) that turn on when they are plugged it. Most people just don't notice them. If it is working properly, then the light is normal.

The power led light just blink they don't stay on

The amp is in "protect" mode. This means that a problem was detected internally and the output section is shutdown to prevent further damage. There are many possible causes of this. Crown amps are not the easiest to diagnose as many use mulitple voltage levels for different amplification stages. I would suggest that you obtain a repair estimate from an authorized Crown service center before proceeding.

Please keep us posted on your progres.

Fuse for crown ce2000 amp???

The problem is not a fuse. The red light indicates that the unit is in "protect" mode. This means that a problem was detected in the final amplification stage and the unit is prevented from turrning on completely to prevent damaging either the speakers or the amp further. These are not the easiest to repair without prior experience and I would not suggest you attemt the repair. Please seek an authorized Crown repair center for assistance.

Crown com-tech 2 channel 400

One channel has failed and is in need of repair. There are some transistors inside that are "noisy" and sending signals down the line. This is a bit tricky to find, but a service shop that does audio repairs should be able to fix this. Figure about $15-$45 for parts depending upon what circuits are effected.

Crown IT 4000 from ROMANIA

make cleaning to your filter by air blower------- keep good ventilation around in the pass of air(in-out)----after you finish try to test your amp by connecting one speaker only at a time until you find the bad one--------------if all above did not pass you will have internal problem of hardware and needs service center.

Crown 3600vz the two red light on amp stay on and does not go off

disconnect your load (speakers) and check.if it is o.k your problem is in speaker.if the problem goen your problem will be short circuit in speaker or cabels.-if not the problem will be in amplifier and this is not logic matter because it is new -anyway try to disconnect all inputs.if the problem goen your problem is in one of the inputs-try to connect input one by one until you find the bad one-if all above failed return your amps back to the shop.(from where you get them)
