My intellifax 2800 starts getting darker as a fax

My intellifax 2800 starts getting darker as a fax is received until by the 7-8th page it is too dark to read. I can not find our manual. Thanks, Warner Martin with ABIC.

Probably need a new drum unit...be sure you're using quality toner also
