Monitor goes blank coming out of power save mode

My VA902b will often go blank upon coming out of power save mode. The expected display will flash on the screen for a fraction of a second, then it goes blank. Disconnecting the monitor from the computer and reconnecting generally gets the image back, but it sometimes takes a while. Is this something I can fix?
