Question about Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) Console

Psp trouble i have a 1001 modle psp. system started showing a signs of trouble when it would freeze when i was playing a game. after the freezing started the system would shut off. i resently tried a brand new game in it. i played the game for not even 30 seconds and it cut off on me. the psp was fully charged when this happend. i tried using it and then it didn't want to turn on anymore even with the wall socket pluged in. the green light stays on for a few seconds then turns off. the screen doesn't even come on. every once and a while it might show the theme screen.

This is a bug/glitch in the psp system i would advise using pandoras battery and just put it back to 1.5 and try using custom firmware it runs smoother if you are not experienced with the psp get someone who is that has custom firmware to make a pandoras battery and downgrade to 1.5 then just update normally if that dosnt work try sending it to sony but this happens to me too sometimes not that often though ever since i went to custom firmware if you do get pandoras battery and want custom firmware look up Angelmikey all his psp videos are to the point and very deatailed hope this helps

Midnight club la remix game always hangs at 3% in L.A career mode, then the psp suddenly freezes and shuts off? i have psp 1001 with cfw 5.50 gen-d3

I have the same problem and I spent so many hours on searching the solution.
there is only 1 solution, downgrade to 5.00 m33-6 and you will b able to play midnight club, Chain of Olymous etc.
but to play new games u will have to patch those for m33-6.
u can also find pre-patched games on internet if u know where to look.
if u want me to post the tutorials, i can do so.

Psp freezing

One solution could be that your PsP has been left on or used up to much. Buying a new battery for your PsP would More than likely Fix That Problem

Psp freezes up during certain games

bet you are playing on a slim, turn of the umd cache in system settings then the problem stops perhaps the game (driver 76) doesnt support the umd cache system using the extra ram in the psp slim
well it worked for me anyway

Game freezes nd shuts off

It sounds like you may have a defective game disc. Try cleaning it if you haven't already. If that doesn't work then it might not be the right format(PAL,NTSC). If you live in Europe you won't be able to play North American games and vise versa. If not that, then try reformatting your memory card through the system settings on your psp.

Hope this helps.
