Is there any way I can output the sound from the set to an amplifier & speakers

You need both an output from whatever it is you want sound from, as well as an input to your amplifier.
The source could have "audio out" sockets, or possibly a "headphone" socket.
The amplifier may have an "aux" input, or another input for something else that is not in use. You could edit your question and name the inputs on the amp. and outputs on your source to aid in getting advice, possibly also identifying what type of sockets are fitted.
The "audio out" would be a "line level" output, but the "headphone" output is likely fairly low level. It could still be high enough to drive into an "aux" input, worth a try.
You need suitable cables with end plugs to suit each end of the connection.

How to connect sony bravia tv to amp

If set has RCA audio outputs, connect the outputs to an input on your amp, say aux, etc. Then set your function control to "AUX" and the audio from your set will be amplified.

4-8 Ohm Output Overpowered?

You weren't by chance connecting a powered subwoofer to the standard speaker channels? Most powered subs require a dedicated output from the amp, otherwise you would be amplifying the signal twice over!

I have a TOA 301 15W amp and a Bose 151 environmental speaker(40w 4 ohms). I do not have a manual for the amp and wish to connect the speaker as a small PA . My concern is that the output I think I should...

Don't worry about the 7.7 volts. Just connect between COM and 4 ohms and you'll be fine. I didn't find a 301 part number related to a 15w amplifier, but I did find a BG series (115 130) of 15 watt amps manual

I have the TOA 906MK2 and do not know how to hook up 2 JBL 8 ohm speakers to it. I am unsure about the connections int he back (25v or 70v). How do I make this connection?

you should not connect any regular spks to the 25/70 line o/ps use the direct 8ohms connections if they exist, this amp is normally used for what used to be called 100V line and produces real AC volts on the 25/70 outputs this will damage any normal non transfomer type speaker.

Hope this helps

Cannot get my pioneer amp to come on i have it plugged in and all my jacks on connected properlly

try one input(mic or line) and one output (one speaker).at a time if it is ok.
check other connection with the rest of your equipments.
if the one connection failed you must pass the amp to service center.

Marantz PM-48 connecting to TV

look on the back of the TV and there should be L/R audio outputs (white & red), connect this to a spare input of your amp via a connecting lead eg. AUX or any other input except PHONO.

hope this helps.

Connecting a guitar amp to a mixer amp

Hi cliff

Connect either of the XLR DI output of the Behringer directly to a MIC IN channel on the Powerpod using a standard Microphone cable. If you wish to push a stereo sound then connect both(L + R) of the XLR DI outputs from the amp... that's about all you need to do. The only reason you need to use stereo(both XLR Outs) from the Behringer is if you want a full stereo FX output from the amp, otherwise you can get away with 1 connected. You may need to back the gain off for those channels on the power pod. You can get a manual for the Powerpod from here

and user manual for the acx900 here

Hope this has helped you, If not, feel free to ask any questions. Cheers.

Turntable to reciever connections

check the continuity in your cables. you will need a multimeter or something else to check the cables. the multimeter is about $10 or so. other than that, make sure that your turntable is actually giving output and that the pre amp is both recieving and sending(same with the regular amp. and make sure that the levels are up on everything and the speakers connected properly etc. you probably know this already, but sometimes a good, friendly reminder helps. good luck!!
