I had this problem with my old computer, encountering it again, but can't remembe what the solution was. I have a high-speed parallel cabel, so SmartConnect won't recognize it, but there is no button to change the standard parallel to high speed parallel, the blue one that came with it. Help!

Believed me you have to reinstall your operating system. I encountered that problem too. I uninstall and re-installed .NET, update windows service packs nothing happened until I reformat the hard drive and install the operating system again. remember format the hard drive first then install the operating system (backup your data first)

Tap Settings > Wi-Fi and turn Wi-Fi off and then on again. Verify that you are in range of your Wi-Fi router or base station. Check whether other devices (portable computers, for example) are able to connect to the Wi-Fi network and access the Internet. Update your Wi-Fi router to the latest firmware.
The only thing you can do is either search the web for that software and download it or uninstall it remove connections to PC, restart PC, then connect it again and "HOPE" that the PC will locate the drivers for it. Other then that....nothing else you can do.
