One image appears stuck on a page. We could not get rid of it so she shut down Ascent Capture, shut down the scanner, shut down the Scan Station computer. When she turned on the scanner and opened Ascent Capture, she got error messages - unable to initialize - cannot locate device. We repeated the shut down process, confirmed hardware was connected securely, same result.
